Immersive Dome Theater for Museums and Attraction Venues
The dome theater is an immersive viewing system composed of a dome structure, projection system and seat platform. With a hemispherical screen surrounding the audience, the experience can simulate space travel, underwater exploration and other panoramic visual journeys in a way that flat-screen cinemas cannot match.
Wehop supports both hard-dome and soft-dome structures. Hard domes suit long-term, high-intensity operation in permanent venues, while soft domes are often used for temporary exhibitions and lower-investment projects. The reference configuration from the legacy product page uses a 9.4-meter-wide non-traditional hemispherical structure with capacity for 38 people.
Projection brightness, playback system, sound design and seat effects are all configurable to fit venue height, audience flow and budget. Dynamic seats can add vibration, leg ticklers, water spray, air blast and multi-angle motion to strengthen immersion for science centers, museums and themed entertainment projects.
